On January 31, 2026, a thanksgiving Mass wascelebrated at Our Lady of the Well Convent - Bkennaya in honor of allthose who contributed to the success of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV’s visit tothe Psychiatric Hospital of the Cross, on December 02, 2025.

A Thanksgiving of Joy and Hope

On December 28, the Friends of the LebaneseFranciscan Sisters of the Cross in Lebanon gathered in a spirit of deepgratitude and heartfelt joy to celebrate a Thanksgiving Mass on the occasion ofthe historic visit of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to the Psychiatric Hospital ofthe Cross.

On December 3, 2025, Our Lady of the Well Convent inBkennaya hosted the first meeting of the FLFS-Lebanon Association,under the patronage of the General Superior, Mother Marie Makhlouf.

A Foundational Beginning

On December 3, 2025, the Friends of the Lebanese Franciscan Sisters of the Cross – Lebanon (FLFS–Lebanon) held their very first official meeting at Saydet El Beit in Bkennaya, marking the launch of this new chapter of support for the Congregation.
